Second Berlin post

When the wall went up it interrupted the subway system. There is now a train that only goes 3 stops. It's famous. It's called U 55.  This is one of the photos on the wall down there.

This is a VW showroom. People come in just to look at all their car options.
Ed was amazed at all the car companies VW owns.
After we resumed our walk we arrived at yet another memorial to the terrors of the Nazies. This is a window in the street which shows empty bookshelves. On this spot in 1933 the Nazies burned books that were offensive to them. This spot is in front of Humbolt University where Marx, Engels and Albert Einstein taught. Einstein left for Princeton in the U.S. In 1932. Smart guy.
This is yet another monument to mistakes made.
The beginning of the museum district.
This is Lenin. Don't forget this is East Berlin. This is their boy.
