Munich/the City

This is their arch of triumph (every city has one).
Can't remember what this is. Looks like a museum.
Their river is the Isar. People were swimming in the river and all their fountains because it is so hot.
We had lunch in a park. Had grilled sausages.
This obelisk is made out of melted down cannon and commemorates the 30,000 young boys that the king sent to march with Napoleon to Moscow.  None returned.
This was our hotel The Freisinger Hof. It's close to the English Garden in a northern suburb. Great hotel. Easy to get downtown on their transportation system. Their subway stations and all trains are air conditioned.
