Today we took the tour of the United Nations. Of course, there were a lot of tourists from all over the world, etc. We took a guided tour, you see our guide in the photos, she was from Austria. I guess they have guides from all over the world. The guide gave a scripted pitch to explain all the good the U.N. does in the developing world. It was quite moving. I bought it. This complex was built in the 50s so now it is 60 yrs. old. They have $2 billion to rehab the buildings and it will take 5-7 yrs. to do it. The tall bldg. is empty and all of those people are in other bldgs. all around this part of town.
