Beginning the adventure...the Flatiron Building

During our first week, we hit the ground running, getting our senior half-price bus/subway passes, learning how our building and the neighborhood works, etc. The weather was excruciatingly hot, in the 90s with only one teeny window air conditioner in our apartment. Finally, yesterday, the weather changed and it is only 75 for a high today. Here is the Flatiron Building, close to Madison Square Park, a beautiful park as you will see.
