There is an art museum in Beacon, NY called the "Dia". The word dia comes from the greek prefix meaning "through"; such as, dialogue, diagram, diatribe, etc. Dia is a large organization with museums and galleries all over the world. This museum in Beacon was originally a factory that made the boxes for Nabisco products. It has 240,000 square feet and they use if for very large installations of very modern stuff.
