Honfleur

So Honfleur was the harbor for northern France until it silted up in about 
1700. After that the port moved to Le Havre. The Germans had no reason to bomb Honfleur because it was of no strategic importance. So this little cute town is still here. The Americans bombed Le Havre 149 times and destroyed it.  When it was rebuilt they built it out of concrete. 


We had lunch here  it is very charming. 
Look how cute this merry go round is.
