Another Architectural Boat Tour

So Mayor Daley was travelling around the country and the world and he saw all these riverwalks and he said:  I've got a river; let's clean it up and I want a river walk.  So 20 years later; it's fabulous.

This building is an example of  Post Modernism.  Because it is no longer the stark Modernism.  There is color in the glass and see the reflections of other buildings.

I believe, don't quote me, the pink building in the center could be called a Modernist building.  See how stark it is.  Chicago architecture is very influence by Mies Van der Rohe who famously stated:  less is more.

They are working on cleaning up the river.  Everyone wants to live along the river now.
