Designed by I.M. Pei (who was a friend of Jackie's) the library is situated on a peninsula south of Boston in Dorchester. It shares the peninsula with U.Mass/Boston. There was a speaker, Kevin Bleyer, who is a writer for The Daily Show, who was speaking to promote a new book he had written. It was advertised all over NPR so we decided to visit the museum on the same day as he was speaking.
It's a very beautiful place and I highly recommend a visit.
