Frederick Law Olmstead's House & Business/Brookline

 This is the guy who created Central Park in NYC and Stanford University as well as the U.S. Capitol grounds.  There is no built environment that he didn't contribute to while he was alive.  His sons continued the business.  For instance, he created the grounds at the Biltmore in Ashville, NC.  He moved to Boston when he was 60 to design a series of parks now called "the Emerald Necklace."
