The Louvre

So here's the deal:  we bought a tourist pass that we had only 6 days to see everything and we tried but today was the end of the 6 days. So now we are free!

Ed and his sister in front of the Louvre. 

We took a private tour of the great masterpieces with a guide. It was great. We could hear; it took 1 1/2 hrs; and we were finished!

What happened today was that the temperature got to 91F.  But then after dinner the temp dropped down into the 70s. 

Napoleon's Tomb & the Eiffel Tower

So this is Les Invalides which was s convalescent hospital before they turned it into Napoleon's tomb.

It took hours of standing in line & I'm afraid of heights.  So why?

Anyway, I did it. 

The Rodin Museum

The house is under renovation but the gardens are so beautiful it didn't matter.

The opera Garnier

So we took a tour of this place. And the irony is now they only use it for ballets because the acoustics are terrible

First days in Paris

It was cold and dreary for part of the day then got hot. 

This is my favorite beautiful building.
