Lake Havasu, Arizona

We stopped here to visit our stockbroker and friends, Gary & Pam.

This is where they located the London Bridge after purchasing it from Great Britain.

Lake Havasu is about half way between Las Vegas and Phoenix. A beautiful lake where they hold the World Jet Ski championships.

Grand Canyon & Little Grand Canyon

Here we are arriving at the Little Grand Canyon. The weather is unusually cold and windy here.
&
Ed loves to take pictures of signs which explain it all.

Notice the Colorado River down there in the center left.

It's Ed.

The sky is truly big out here.

Stopping in Texas @ Ed's sister's house

This is the Texas landscape.

These sculptures were on the road to New Mexico.

On the road in the hill country of TX.

Ed's sister's back yard. Those fields will fill up with antelope and deer.

Crossing the Mississippi @ Baton Rouge the day before they opened the spillways. We got past there just in time.

Leaving Tybee...................

Here is Melissa arriving to eradicate any traces of dogs in our house.

Irish rides in the back seat.

Poppie rides on the center console most times.

Sancho rides in the back on top of the suitcases.

Walker, Christy and Julia come to visit

The weekend before our trip commenced, my son Walker, his wife Christy, and our granddaughter, Julia, came to visit.

Here she is driving the BMW kiddy car.

A day at the beach.

Bonding in the hot tub.

Jessica's ball

Here is J.P. presenting Jessica with the medal she earned by attending all the practices over 7 years to finish the Cotillion course.

The parents receive their daughter.

This is the Jones Family.

Gorgeous J.P. @ 52!

Here we are getting ready for the ball. The Ball was held at the Millenium Biltmore in the Crystal Ballroom in downtown Los Angeles. It was an all day affair as we prepared for pictures, etc.

This is my nephew J.P. and his cousin Chris helping him with cuff links.

Ed helping Jarrett.

The finished product.

Almost over and fading fast.

This is our great neice. She worked very hard to achieve this place. The kids attended Cotillion for seven years and could only miss 2 practices a year during that period. She will begin her college career in the fall and will study nursing. Congratulations, Jessica!

Julia's Third Birthday--A Woodland Fairy Tale

The little boys wore gnome hats and beards. The little girls wore wings and tutus. (They were woodland fairies.) The food consisted of berries, raisins and apples in bowls made of shredded wheat and chocolate. (Walker made the bowls.) Here is three-year-old Julia ready for her birthday party. This is the sweater/dress I made for her. The cake was covered with woodland fairies.
