My grandson, Luke's, third birthday.

The week before Thanksgiving we journeyed to North Georgia (Athens & Atlanta) for our grandson's third birthday. It was quite a celebration. All of his preschool class was invited. It was held in a basketball gym and there were all kinds of great toys for the kids to play with.

Luke is a huge monster truck fan, and all of his preschool was invited to his party.

Even his cake has a monster truck theme.

The Chick Fil A cow even showed up for a visit.

Here is Cousin Julia with one of the great toys they had to play with.

A world map was on Luke's list so Ed and I gave that to him.

The Kiddies Come for the Weekend..............

Suzanne helped me learn how to write below the photos.
I'm going to send a msg to Carmen to tell her how to
do it.

I have space in here to write captions. Thanks, Suzanne.

Dear Suzanne: Thank you for showing me this trick!!!

Here are Luke and Julia hanging out on the porch.

We had a wedding here on Tybee and this is what I wore.................

A stop in Williamsburg on the way back to GA

We stopped to visit our condo in Williamsburg. We took the dogs over to visit Historic Williamsburg for a morning walk before heading south to Atlanta, on our way to visit the grandkids.

Hersheyland, PA

My dad always told me that the family farm was on the road between Lebanon and Hershey, PA. We ended up staying in a hotel in Hersey where we encountered Hersheyland in the morning. Here are shots of the amusement park and candy factory in Hershey.

A trip to visit my cousins in Lebanon, PA

Over the past 15 years, I went on a quest to figure out who my father's relatives were. All I knew was that he had been born in Lebanon, PA. I began doing the regular investigations thru the U.S. Census Bureau, etc. and I eventually found my family and even my relative who was the family genealogist who befriended me and said "Yes, we are cousins." So, here are my cousins, and my great uncles grave stones and the very beautiful creek that was very near our farm.
