Le Rocque Gagnac

So in the guidebooks this is the cutest village in France and it's only 6 miles from our hotel and it's still 100 degrees so we took a boat ride on the Dordogne which made these cliffs.  Tomorrow:  Bordeaux, a big city. 

Ed asked the person who narrated the boat tour to get an air conditioned restaurant and we arrived at the Belle Etoile which was wonderful. 

Also there was a woman there with a whippet from California and we

had a chat. 

This is a pistachio fabulous dessert. Below is the Dordogne River.
